We are recruiting an energetic Accounts Assistant who is eager to learn and develop on their existing knowledge in this very well-rounded opportunity. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, this is a role which will provide a great deal of support to the settled team of 4 on all things accounts payable as well as involvement in assisting with month-end duties and elements of the company’s sustainability requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with monthly management accounts and information packs
  • Purchase invoice reconciliation
  • Sales invoice reconciliation
  • Income reconciliation
  • COS reconciliation
  • Soldo (expenses/prepaid debit card transactions) import to Sage
  • Purchase ledger cleardown
  • Prepare and assist with payment runs
  • Direct Debits for approvals
  • Support with company’s sustainability requirements

To be successful in this role you will have a strong transactional finance grounding within a similar position ideally across accounts payable and possess the desire to learn and take on more. You will be a strong communicator and have the ability to liaise with stakeholders of varying levels as well as be open to being a part of the company’s sustainability requirements.
