We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join a great company within the Warrington area.

This role offers a good work-life balance with a working week of 37.5 hours, hybrid working and also flexibility with working hours.

Duties:

  • Serve as the primary contact for all billing and revenue-related inquiries.
  • Manage Purchase Orders & review open Purchase Orders
  • Conduct payment runs and ensure costs are booked/coded correctly for each project.
  • Raise sales invoices, submit them to clients, and book receipts.
  • Perform debtors’ and creditors’ reconciliations, as well as bank reconciliations.
  • Maintain responsibility for the accuracy and auditability of all transactions posted.
  • Collate timesheet data and engage in credit control activities.
  • Submit monthly CIS returns and verify new suppliers for CIS.
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently and part of a team.
  • Strong proactive communicator with the ability to engage and influence at all levels.
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines and manage time effectively within a deadline-driven function.
  • Intermediate/Advanced Excel.
  • Strong team player with a flexible attitude to work priorities.
