Accounts Assistant - Temp to Perm Opportunity in Deal

Offering a salary of £25,000-£28,000 per annum, with an immediate start available, we are seeking an Accounts Assistant for a dynamic and diverse role within a construction company situated in the vibrant town of Deal.

Job Overview: As an Accounts Assistant, you will join the team on a temporary basis with the potential to become a permanent member of staff. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a varied work environment where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Taking full responsibility for the purchase ledger.
  • Preparing and maintaining the sales ledger, issuing invoices, and managing credit control.
  • Reporting directly to the Financial Controller on all accounting processes.
  • Handling new supplier applications and maintaining supplier relations.
  • Addressing and resolving supplier queries effectively.
  • Executing payment runs in a timely manner.
