Would you like to work in a supportive and friendly team?

My client, a growing firm of Chartered Accountants are seeking a motivated and driven individual to join their growing team near Gillingham.

As Accounts Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients, providing a range of accounting services including preparing financial statements, managing tax compliance, and bookkeeping for clients. You will also have the opportunity to support on audits.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Prepare accounts in accordance with FRS 102(1A) for a mixed portfolio of clients including limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
  • Management accounts preparation
  • Assist with audits
  • Bookkeeping for clients
The ideal candidate will have:
  • A minimum of 1 years' experience in practice
  • Studying towards a recognized accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, AAT)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • A desire to learn and progress your career in Practice

Location: Rainham, Kent: 
Hours Monday - Friday (35 hour week)
