ROLE: Accounts Assistant
SALARY: Up to £30,000
LOCATION: Leamington (Hybrid working after probation)
THE COMPANY: We are currently working with a leading construction business, based in Leamington, who are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an extremely well-established, family-run business who have been a leader in their sector for over 80 years!

THE CANDIDATE: The right candidate will have previous experience of working within a busy finance team, ideally for an SME with turnover of £10m+.
The successful individual will have a strong background in supporting with month-end, management accounts and high-volume bank reconciliations.
As there is lots of autonomy in this position, you must be able to work well to your own initiative and have good time management skills.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Supporting with month and year-end activities.
- Working closely with the Finance Manager and supporting with management accounts.
- Reconciliation of bank accounts.
- Reconciliation of control accounts to trial balance.
- Assisting with internal audit procedures.
- Forecasting cash flow.
- Assisting with purchase and sales ledger, as required.
- Dealing with any queries from colleagues.
