Overview

A new client of ours, located in the Coventry area, is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their close knit finance team. This position is looking for someone who can assist with a range of finance duties, specifically purchase ledger and payroll. This is going to be a temporary to permanent position where they will the temporary aspect as a probation period before going permanent.

The successful candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, preparing for payment runs and resolving finance queries. Additionally they will look after the payroll, our clients are looking for someone with previous end to end payroll experience. Lastly they are looking for someone who has used Sage before.

Skills Required
  • Have worked in a finance role previously, assisting with the purchase and/or sales ledger.
  • Have experience completing end to end payroll, this is essential.
  • Have used Sage before, they are looking for someone who is confident using this system.
  • Be immediately available, our clients are looking for someone to start ASAP.
What You Will Receive
  • Get to work alongside an experienced accounts professional of 30 years, who is happy to provide training to the successful candidate to make them a stronger Accounts Assistant.
  • Receive ongoing support from Mitchell Adam during the temporary placement to ensure you obtain the permanent placement.
  • 28 days annual leave, including bank holiday as well as a competitive salary.
  • Receive on-site parking.
