A very exciting opportunity has come up to join a growing business as their Accounts Assistant just outside of Bristol.

Salary: £25,000 - £28,000

This role is office based with hybrid working discussed once you are comfortable in the role.

As a member of the Accounts Team, you will support the day to day functions of the Accounts departments from bank reconciliations and processes payment to raising Finance Company commission invoices.

You will assist the Financial Controller and key stakeholders within the business in other ad-hoc duties when required.

Job responsibilities:

  • Daily bank account updates - checking all payments and receipts are on the accounts systems
  • Monthly reconciliation of current bank account
  • Adding supplier invoices to in house CRM
  • Credit control when required - chase for any overdue invoices and clear down accounts
  • Processing of payments
  • Invoice email inbox processing
  • Invoice raising
  • Amending and checking deposits
  • Any other ad-hoc duties in supporting the department

Experience required:

  • 1+ years experience as an Accounts Assistant/Admin
  • Knowledge of Sage - preferable
  • Experience in purchase ledger and bank recs
  • Experience supporting a finance function
