NLB Solutions are working with a local business based in Leighton Buzzard that are looking for a Temporary Accounts Assistant for approx. 6 months. The role will require someone with to assist with the purchase ledger function and general administration. This is a role that will start as soon as possible and will require commitment to the assignment. Reporting into the Accountant, you will work alongside another Accounts Assistant.

The role is office based and will cover a 40-hour week from 8.30am to 5.30pm. With parking and a pleasant office environment, the company are keen for the new person to settle in quickly and be part of a close-knit team.

Duties:

Purchase Ledger

  • Purchase ledger - Match, batch and coding.
  • Data entry.
  • General office duties including answering the phone, emails and filing.
  • Support the finance team when required.

Person Spec:

  • One year experience in a similar role.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communicator.
  • IT literate - good knowledge of excel.
  • Well organised and high level of accuracy.
