Accounts Assistant, £23-25,000 DOE, Harrogate

Are you an Accounts Assistant looking for a new challenge? Would you like to work somewhere that are able to offer study support?

Working for their Head Office as Accounts Assistant you will assist the Finance Manager and Finance Team to provide robust and continuously improving accounting and management information to the businesses.

Skills Required:

• Finance, accounting, or other numerical degree or studying towards AAT or other financial qualification.
• Must have a good understanding of Excel.
• Experience of procedures in a finance environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Ownership of procedures for cashbooks and production of bank reconciliations.
• Administer requests for payments - initiate and record transactions, following prescribed procedures, within given deadlines.
• Operate and improve your own share of accounting processes, providing valid balance sheet support where appropriate.
• Assist in the compilation of data to support external and internal audit requirements.
• Provide support to the Finance Manager and other team members.
• Involvement in key projects within the Finance Team.
