ROLE: Accounts Assistant

SALARY: Up to £25,000 (some flexibility DOE)

LOCATION: Birmingham City Centre (office based)

THE COMPANY: We are currently working with a leading business, based in Birmingham, who are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team.

This is a great opportunity to join an award-winning business, who have been well established for almost 25 years.

THE CANDIDATE: The right candidate will ideally have at least 2 years’ experience within finance, however less-experienced candidates will be considered.

Due to the nature of the business, this role is very fast paced and so the ability to work well under pressure, is a must.

The successful individual will also have strong Excel skills and a good attention to detail.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Supporting with the sales and purchase ledger, including inputting invoices, allocating payment and payment runs.
  • Preparing banking reports and bank reconciliation.
  • Processing petty cash.
  • Allocating and chasing debtors.
  • Ad hoc administrative duties.
