Description

  • You will be responsible for processing and managing all student funding from start to finish
  • You will be working extremely closely with the Local Authorities in relation to student funding
  • Assist in maintaining accurate financial records for the school.
  • Process invoices, payments, and expense reports promptly and accurately.
  • Reconcile accounts and bank statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports for stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
  • Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed.

Profile

  • Applicants must have experience working with Finance and Accounting
  • The ideal candidate will have experience working within an educational setting
  • Experience of working with Local Authorities is a bonus but not essential
  • Experience in Student Funding a bonus but not essential
  • Must be a quick learner
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reporting directly to the Director of Finance.
  • May be working towards an accountancy degree

Job Offer

Accounts Assistant

  • Salary £25000 - £28500
  • Part Time - 28 hours per week - 4 days.
  • Permanent
  • Hybrid Working
  • 33 Days Holiday incl Bank Holidays (pro rata)
