Job Opportunity: Experienced Accounts Assistant

Location: Redcar

Salary: £24,000 - £27,000 (Dependent upon experience)

Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant looking for a dynamic role within a successful company? Look no further! We are currently seeking a skilled individual to join a supportive and friendly finance team.

Responsibilities:

• Send payment remittances to suppliers.
• Set up supplier and customer accounts on SAGE.
• Maintain up-to-date filing systems.
• Provide payroll cover for holidays and sickness.
• Reconcile credit cards and manage the accounts inbox.
• Register and match purchase invoices onto the Sage system.
• Resolve invoice queries promptly and efficiently.
• Enter payments into the company banking system.
• Perform monthly purchase statement reconciliations.
• Collate monthly payment runs and process supplier payments.
• Conduct bank reconciliations.

Key Skills:

• Attention to detail: Accuracy is crucial in financial processes.
• Excellent communication skills: Ability to interact effectively with colleagues and suppliers.
• Outstanding organisational abilities: Keep track of multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Previous experience/knowledge of Sage accounts and Excel: Familiarity with these tools is preferable.
