Our client based in Wigan, are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their busy team. This is a new role due to the business expanding rapidly over the past few years.

Duties include:

  • Purchase ledger duties including processing invoices, and preparing payment runs
  • Logging all overhead invoices on account systems
  • Monthly supplier account reconciliations
  • Communicating with suppliers to resolve queries and obtain missing invoices/credit notes
  • Daily banking reconciliation
  • Assisting in the preparation of financial reports/analysis using Excel
  • Assisting with payroll (all training will be given)
  • Ad hoc tasks as required to assist the growth of the business

You need to have previous accounting experience to be considered for this role in either purchase or sales ledger (or both) You need to be accurate, have excellent time management and be a friendly and confident communicator
