Accounts Assistant

Saltash

£12.08 per hour

7 Month Contract

Do you have experience in reconciliations and bookkeeping? We have an opportunity for you to join a Saltash based company, covering their transactional finance administration as part of their busy team. As the Accounts Assistant you'll be an integral part of our client's finance function, working closely with the company accountant to provide general support to the finance team.

The role:

  • Assist the purchase ledger function: Supplier account maintenance, invoicing inputting & coding.
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Journals
  • Double entry bookkeeping
  • Stock reviews
  • Assisting with the property sales ledger, & payment of rents
  • Assist in ad hoc tasks essential for the smooth operation of the accounts department.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in general accounts tasks i.e. bookkeeping, reconciliations & journals.
  • AAT qualification to Level 2 is desirable but not essential, experience is equally of value.
