Accounts Assistant - Purchase Ledger, £23-27,000 DOE, Harrogate


Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant with a background in accounts payable and receivable? Are you dynamic and sociable with excellent organisational and time management skills?


Our client is looking for an experience Accounts Assistant to play in key part in the continued expansion of their business. You will be assisting with a variety of stakeholders reporting into the Management Accountant and aiding with other teams within the business.


Skills Required:
• Experience in a similar role
• Accounts Payable experience
• Ideally knowledge of stock control functions
• Knowledge of Sage 50 advantageous

Responsibilities:
• Processing Purchase orders, checking and gaining approvals where needed.
• Checking and processing goods received items for job related work.
• Accounts payable functions, including processing invoices, reconciling statements, and dealing with any queries.
• Aged Creditors balances review at month end with line manager.
• Reconciliation of Subcontractors analysis.
• Looking into missed recharges
• Preparation of the mid-month and end of month payment run for review.
• Review and submit credit card transactions for review, and post to ledger.
• Providing cover for Sales Ledger when required.
