My client - a world renowned IT business based near HOLBORN STATION is seeking a PART TIME ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT to join them whilst they experience unprecedented growth!

PLEASE NOTE - This role is based in the office for 3 days a week / This is a temporary role

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing and posting of invoice
  • Preparing analysis and reconciliation of supplier accounts
  • Preparing and entering sales invoices
  • Corresponding with vendors and responding to inquiries
  • Chasing late payments from clients
  • Preparing and processing electronic transfers and payments
  • Reconciling accounts payable transactions
  • Reconciling accounts receivable transactions
  • Perform the daily bank reconciliation
  • Preparing weekly aged creditor and debtor reports
  • Managing the Finance mailbox for the team
  • Processing employee expenses
  • Supporting the annual audits for all entities
  • Ad-hoc accounting and administration tasks as required

Experience and Skills required

  • Positive, "can do" attitude with the desire to take ownership of assigned tasks and projects.
  • A sense of pride in maintaining a clean and accurate set of financial records.
  • Confidence to interact with all staff across the finance team and the wider business.
  • Flair for evaluating problems and proposing solutions independently.
  • Possess a natural curiosity and ability to quickly pick-up new tasks whilst working autonomously.
  • Good communicator, ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Well organised, with the ability to keep to strict deadlines in a face paced and high growth environment
