Morgan McKinley is working with a well established company based in East Grinstead, West Sussex who is looking to expand their Accounts team and now has new requirements for an entry level Finance Assistant. The Accounts Assistant will support the Finance team, assisting with everyday Finance admin such as, processing payments, filing, handling customer invoice queries etc. This is a lovely Finance role for someone keen to pursue a career in Accounts.

Salary: £21-25K

Hours: 9am-5.30pm Monday to Friday

Location: East Grinstead, office based - parking onsite

Finance Assistant duties:

  • Supporting the Accounts team with everyday accounts admin
  • Processing incoming payments
  • Handling customer queries and taking payments from customers over the telephone
  • Processing and administering monthly payments
  • Data entry, scanning and filing of accounts documents

Skills and experience:

  • Ideally have some experience of working in an Accounts / Finance, office support, admin skills or keen to start their career in Finance
  • Good IT skills
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
