The role on offer is an Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper role, and it offers a real variety of work, from bookkeeping through to preparation of statutory financial accounts, preparing VAT and CIS returns, management reporting and payroll. You will also take an active role in guiding your clients through the transition to online accounting systems.

This role would suit either an AAT qualified candidate or an active studier, though my client is equally willing to look at applications from unqualified candidates with a minimum of 2 years' accountancy practice experience. Your role will involve lots of client interaction, both on the telephone and in person on client sites, so you will need to be a strong relationship builder and happy dealing with a wide variety of clients.
