You'll work in partnership with the Finance Manager rather than simply report into her - the knowledge she has is second to none and she's ready to share this with her next hire; she will not treat you as a "contractor" - she wants you to finish the role in 12 months having gained so much exposure and insight into every aspect of the accounts… if this happens, as far as she's concerned, she knows she's done her job. You are not there to plug a gap!

She is absolutely amazing; she's created a step-by-step guide of their processes that you can follow as you find your feet - it's an incredible handbook which will ensure you feel confident and assured in your role; there will even be a 7-8 week handover period with the existing Accounts Assistant who knows the role like the back of her hand… no being "thrown in the deep end" like the majority of contract roles!

Although a maternity cover, you'll be instantly treated and respected as a permanent member of staff with the same opportunities for growth and development during your tenure.
