Our client is seeking an experienced Practice Accountant and/or Auditor ready to take the next step up in their career. You will be joining a team which has been experiencing lots of growth recently. This is an exciting time for the client and they want an ambitious individual who can grow with them. This role would be suitable for someone with a couple of years’ exprience or a newly qualified Accountant ready for that next step.

Accounts and Audit Senior - About The Role

Joining the Accounts team, you will be working on a diverse portfolio of clients. This is a varied role, while focusing on Statutory Accounting you will also be assisting with Audit work. Experience in both Accounts and Audit is desirable for this role but candidates with experience in just one or the other will be considered.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare statutory accounts with supporting files ready for review
  • Prepare draft tax computations
  • Assist with audits for a diverse mix of clients
  • Train and develop junior members of the team

The successful Accounts and Audit Senior will have/be:

  • Part qualified or qualified in ACA or ACCA
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a UK Public Practice
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Ready to join an ambitious team that is primed for growth
