Accounts Administrator

  • Job Type: Part-time - 18-20 Hours a week
  • Location: Diss
  • Salary: £11-£13 Per Hour

Reed Accountancy and Finance in Norwich are seeking an experienced  Accounts Administrator to join our clients close-knit finance team, with a focus on completing financial procedures and providing support to various parts of the organisation. The role involves shared responsibility for the purchase and sales ledgers, transactional input into the finance system, and assisting in ad-hoc central team projects. The successful candidate will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Processing invoices, staff expenses, and payment card transactions.
  • Reconciling supplier statements with purchase transactions.
  • Handling monthly funding remittances and generating sales invoices as required.
  • Assisting in financial year-end
  • Supporting with general administration tasks when needed.
  • Liaising with suppliers, contractors, and offices.
  • Adding new suppliers and customers for the organisation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Good levels of literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Proficiency in IT and willingness to learn new systems
  • Ability to manage own workload within the requirements of the job and contracted hours.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to develop solutions.
  • Flexibility to travel where necessary.
