Accounts Administrator

Flexible working options available between 32-40 hours a week - £14 per hour

The role of the Accounts Administrator:

  • Process invoices, payments, and expenses accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of accounts payable and receivable.
  • Monitor overdue payments, follow up with clients, and resolve any payment discrepancies.
  • Prepare and send out invoices, statements, and reminders to clients as required.
  • Reconcile financial transactions and resolve discrepancies.
  • Record financial transactions accurately and ensure they are appropriately classified.
  • Maintain and update general ledgers, journals, and other financial records.
  • Prepare and review financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
  • Input financial data into accounting software or spreadsheets accurately.
  • Prepare reports and summaries based on financial data for management review.
  • Assist in budget preparation and monitoring.
  • Provide general administrative support.
  • Maintain organised and systematic filing systems for financial documents.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for audits.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial information and exercise discretion when handling sensitive data.
