DK Recruitment are working with a dynamic and growing organisation in Newton Abbot, seeking a motivated Accounts Administration Assistant to join our team. As a key player in our finance department, you will contribute to the smooth operation of our financial processes while enjoying the flexibility of hybrid working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and reviewing invoices for accuracy and completeness.
  • Obtaining necessary approvals and ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Inputting invoice data accurately into the accounting system.
  • Resolving any discrepancies or issues with invoices in a timely manner.
  • Filing and maintaining financial records and documents.
  • Assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Responding to inquiries from vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders regarding financial matters.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar accounts administration or finance support role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative team.
  • A commitment to upholding confidentiality and integrity in handling financial information.
