About the Role:

This will be an office-based role, you will drive all AR activity ensuring accurate & timely administration of all accounts receivable transactions along with credit control for part of the sales ledger maintaining confidentiality at all times

Key Responsibilities:

• Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in the processing of all AR transactions

• Processing of all inbound customer receipts

• Reconciliation of customer accounts, investigation & resolution of invoice queries

• Monthly submission of customer statements

• Timely collection of customer accounts maintaining current level of debtor days

• Creation of new customer accounts in line with AFG policy re completed credit application form, adherence to payment terms, Creditsafe recommendation etc

• Monitoring via Creditsafe of existing customers & ensuring all transactions are transacted within our agreement with Atradius our credit insurer

• Interface with customers to answer questions orsolve problems

• Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices

• Holiday cover for AP administrator to include processing of AP invoices, credit notes and payment runs Requirements and skills

• Knowledge of SAGE accounting software and MS Excel proficiency

• Ability to input, retrieve and analyse data

• Hands-on commitment to getting the job done

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organisational and time management skills
