A small but hugely successful and growing accountancy firm based in Surrey are looking for a bright and enthusiastic graduate who is looking to become a fully qualified accountant.

This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to join an accountancy firm who have an established and amazing client base, and have an outstanding reputation in the marketplace. They are very special and do things slightly differently from a lot of firms - their driving belief system and core values are all centred around customer service - they truly add value to their clients and they do so by getting to know them and really investing time with them. Everyone in the team has lots of client contact and the senior management team believe that client skills are massively important.

This deep set belief system means that employees will further their careers here quickly. You will have wide technical exposure and the opportunity to learn how to work with and service clients from very early on.

As a Graduate in Accounting & Finance or similar, you will already have some knowledge of the fundamentals such as double entry.

The role will involve:

  • Bookkeeping and VAT
  • Statutory accounts production for a wide range of entities
  • Tax returns
  • Company Secretarial
  • Lots of client contact - telephone and email predominantly
  • Client meetings
  • Assisting clients with software and accounting queries
