Join the team and you will enjoy a varied role, building client relationships and supporting the Client Managers in all aspects of accounts and tax work.

General duties include:

  • Assisting the Client Managers as required
  • Preparing records checklists
  • Producing Management and Annual Accounts for Clients
  • Providing Xero training and support to clients
  • Producing VAT Returns
  • Company Secretarial Services
  • Undertake Client bookkeeping
  • Liaising directly with clients to provide assistance

Experience

This is a trainee role however some experience working within an Accountancy Practice is preferred, including some exposure to Accounts preparation to trial balance, VAT, Bookkeeping and Cloud Accounting. While previous participation in Personal and Corporate Tax return preparation and advance Microsoft Excel skills are also advantageous, however will consider suitable entry level candidates too.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will be educated to at least A level standard, working toward or AATL4 qualified or graduate level and have exceptional communication and technical skills.

 My client  are ACA, ACCA, CIOT and AAT affiliated and have ACCA Platinum Trainer status for our continuous focus on developing our team.

  • Resilient and flexible, willing to work at a detailed level and provide expertise and support where needed
  • Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic changing business
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Exceptional organisation, teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to plan, prioritise and multitask efficiently to meet deadlines
  • Fluent English with effective and efficient written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to engage positively with team and clients and to actively participate as part of the team
  • Ability to quickly adapt to a range of new IT programs
  • Discretion and confidentiality

Location

To enhance training and development, this is a fully office based role, so willingness to commute daily or drive is required.
