Accountant
MacKenzie King are recruiting an Accountant for a small but thriving accountancy practice with a fantastic reputation, based in Maldon. They pride themselves on providing a first class tailored service to a client base spanning across the local community, charities, solicitors, insurance brokers, construction, technology, manufacturing, and retail. As an Accountant you will be responsible for a portfolio of clients from sole traders and partnerships through to large limited companies and groups.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Preparation of management accounts
- Preparation of self-assessment tax returns
- Preparation of corporation tax returns
- Managing own workload and overseeing other colleagues work
Skills & Attributes:
- Previous practice based experience is essential
- Studying towards an accountancy qualification is advantageous
- Strong software skills, to include MS Office
