We are seeking a dedicated Accountant to oversee the daily operations of our well-established finance department and to prepare monthly management accounts. This role is ideal for a Part or Qualified Accountant who is pragmatic, possesses excellent communication skills, and has a high attention to detail. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to progress in their career within a rapidly growing company known for its advanced technologies and solutions.

• Preparation of management accounts.
• Conducting financial reconciliations and controlling key balance sheet accounts.
• Preparing and reviewing journals.
• Supervising and providing assistance to finance administrators.
• Overseeing all day-to-day financial transactions.
• Reviewing payroll.
• Handling VAT returns & EC sales/Intrastat.
• Addressing year-end accounts and audit queries.
• Assisting with stock control and supporting the supply chain team.
• Enhancing systems and controls.
• Undertaking other ad hoc financial-related tasks as required.

• Proven experience in the preparation of management accounts.
• Experience of dealing with financial accounts.
• Experience of transactional accounts and payroll.
• Uncompromising attention to detail.
• Good technical accounting knowledge.
• Organised with a strong work ethic.
• Commercial experience.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build good working relationships.
• Proficiency in accounting systems (ideally Microsoft BC) and Excel.
