An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Qualified Chartered Accountant to join a successful Accountancy Practice based in Belfast City Centre. This role offers the chance to work with a diverse client base, providing a full range of Accounting services.

Chartered Accountant

• Annual Salary: £38k pa
• Location: Belfast City Centre
• Job Type: Full-time

Day-to-day of the role:

• Preparing financial statements for individuals, partnerships, and small to medium-sized companies
• Undertaking personal and corporate tax work, ensuring compliance and strategic tax planning
• Conducting audits, examining books of accounts, and verifying financial information for accuracy
• Processing payroll efficiently and accurately for various clients
• Utilizing software tools proficiently, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and specialized accounting and accounts preparation software

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Recognised qualification as a Chartered Accountant
• Experience in an Accountancy Practice environment
• Familiarity with auditing processes and principles
• Strong understanding of tax regulations and the ability to engage in tax planning
• Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting
• Effective communication skills, capable of maintaining strong client and colleague relationships
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage financial systems and budgets
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
