Are you working in Practice with experience of preparing year end accounts?

Are you looking for a new challenge in a role where you can build relationships with your clients and feel like you are adding value to their business?
  
If so then my client has a great opportunity for you. They are a growing firm of Accountants based in Chatham who work with a diverse range of clients and pride themselves on providing a personal service.

They are looking for an Accountant, with at least 3 years’ experience in practice to join their team. You will work with a portfolio of clients where you will manage the relationship and be responsible for preparing year end accounts, tax returns – personal and corporate – and VAT returns.

You may be a qualified Accountant but experience is as important as qualification. You must be numerate, be able to work well with colleagues and be passionate about improving your current skill set and providing a high standard of service to your clients.

A high level of computer literacy is essential, including knowledge of using accounting software. Experience using IRIS accountancy suite and Xero would be preferred.

Duties as an Accountant include:
- First point of contact for your clients
- Maintaining strong client relationships
- Dealing with client queries and providing strategic business advice
- Preparation of sole trade, and Limited Company Accounts
- Preparation of individual and Corporation Tax submissions
- Managing own diary and workload in order to meet KPIs and statutory        deadlines
- Supervising and supporting junior members of the team
