Accountant

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Accountant to join a small and well-established accountancy practice, based in the centre of Gloucester.
This is an exciting time to join a close-knit business as their client base continues to grow, and the team develops and expands.

Key responsibilities of the accountant:

• Self-Assessment Tax Returns
• Corporate Year-End Accounts
• Management Accounts
• Client liaison

Skills required for the successful Accountant:

• One of the following qualifications: ACCA/CIMA/ACA (almost qualified can also be considered)
• At least 5 years’ experience within a similar role
• Experience in Xero, QuickBooks, and Microsoft
• Meet strict deadlines.
• Work efficiently remotely.
• Communicate effectively.
• Use Microsoft Office and other IT systems effectively.
• Uphold the company values of integrity, empathy, and selflessness.
