Our client is seeking a dedicated and ideally, a part-qualified accountant for its thriving finance team. 
In this position, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of the business.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Ownership and control of financial ledgers for each entity ensuring up to date and accurate records are in place.
  • Raising sales invoices and intercompany recharges where required.
  • Preparation of monthly Balance Sheet control.
  • Set up of new bank accounts, including for rent deposits, as required.
  • Weekly cashbook postings and monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Generating payments and cash transfers on online banking systems.
  • Preparation and postings of all year-end journals.
  • Preparation of quarterly managements accounts.
  • Collaborating across departments.
  • Supporting the management with external audits.
  • Preparing actual v Forecast reconciliation analysis for journal entry cash postings.
  • Assisting with finance system improvements.
  • Preparation of quarterly VAT returns.
  • Maintaining up to date summary of VAT registered entities.
  • Performing a range of Treasury related duties
  • Assist in review and implementation of internal controls.

To be considered for this position, you will require:
  • Ideally part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Previous experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Excellent prioritisation and time management skills.
  • Strong Excel skills, including PIVOT tables, VLOOKUPs and other basic formula to aid effective data manipulation and review.
