We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Accountant/Accounts Assistant to support our team, in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.


As an Accountant/Accounts Assistant, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day financial operations of our organisation.


Responsibilities:


Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:


- Addressing client queries with HMRC
- Managing the preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns
- Compiling personal tax computations and returns
- Provision of bookkeeping and management accounting services
- Maintenance of up-to-date accounting records for clients
- Preparation of annual accounts and corporation tax returns


Qualifications:


- Previous experience in accounting or finance roles preferred.
- AAT or ACCA qualification preferred, but not essential.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage or Xero.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in handling financial information.


Working Hours:


Our working hours are 7.5 hours per day, between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm, Monday to Friday
