We have a selection of firms across Mid and East Cornwall who are presently seeking aspiring accountancy staff who have at least 12 month's practice experience and are passionate about helping their clients. There are a variety of roles available for applicants who are looking for a fresh challenge to perhaps help boost a dull salary structure, maybe broaden their chances of supported training opportunities or just feel its time to see what else is out there in Cornwall in 2024.

It is worth noting that these firms will currently consider applications from Finance/Accountancy graduates.

Duties:

- Prepare and maintain financial records for clients using accounting software such as Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks and/or other accounting software
- Assist with financial reporting and analysis.
- Provide support in the preparation of tax returns and audits.
- Collaborate with clients to ensure compliance with financial regulations and best practices.
- Assist with payroll processing and reconciliation.

Experience:

- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in an accountancy practice.
- Proficiency in using accounting software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, and PeopleSoft.
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices.
- Experience in providing financial services to clients in various industries.
- Familiarity with financial management and reporting.
- Ability to mentor junior staff members and provide guidance on accounting processes.
