Denholm is delighted to be working with a multi award-winning marketing agency based Edinburgh, who are looking for a new Account Manager to join their busy team.

This agency works with big brand names in a range of sectors including FMCG, Retail, Financial Services, Public and Transportation and are well-known for their innovative experiential marketing, digital and creative campaigns.

In this role you'll be a key member of the client services team, building strong relationships both with clients and colleagues to deliver fantastic work within agreed timescales and budgets across TV, radio, outdoor, digital advertising, social media, strategy, and more.


What you'll be doing:

Working closely with the Senior Client Services Team, in this exciting Account Manager role you'll be a key contact for clients, with responsibilities including:

  • Strategic problem solving while keeping on track of clients' multi-channel projects.
  • Ensuring the smooth running of your client accounts and maintaining long-term relationships.
  • Organising and attending client briefings and presentations.
  • Working with Account Executives for smooth running of meetings and events.
  • Continually seeks to add value to client relationships and proactively suggests new ways that the agency can impress clients and further cement relationships.
  • Working with an award-winning creative team to produce brilliant, effective work.
  • Financial management - estimating, quoting, and invoicing on campaigns and projects.
  • Time management - creation of timing plans to meet client deadlines.
  • Documenting project progress - status reports, contact reports etc.
  • Positive input into strategy process (market/consumer/competitor insight/knowledge) - getting to the crux of that brief, audience or proposition.
  • Writing creative briefs using insight and distilling information down so creative teams have a clear brief to use as a springboard.
  • Assisting the Senior Account Manager with forecasting future income streams.


Who we're looking for:

  • 2+ Years of solid agency experience, working with clients and leading on project delivery, creative input and timelines/resourcing.
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly advanced listening, providing clarity and consistency to clients and internal teams.
  • Excellent work ethic.
  • Plenty of enthusiasm and initiative.
  • Commercially focused.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
  • A people person and team player who jumps right in.
  • Eye for creative solutions and attention to detail.
  • Shows initiative and pro-activity.
  • Understanding of wider marketing and media channels and their role in the communications mix.
  • Understanding of role of strategy and planning.
  • IT skills- specifically office 365 and Google.
