Account Manager

Prospero Integrated are keen to speak with an Account Manager to join a leading provider of innovation, technology and operational support to the live events and system integration markets.

We are looking for a seasoned events individual with experience in venue account management within a vibrant and busy London venue.

  • East London
  • Permanent
  • Up to £45k

Responsibility:

  • Your focus will be furthering relationships with the leads and clients given by our client and The Sales Manager.
  • You will be largely provided leads by the venue, but you will be responsible for follow up and day to day self-management. It is important that you work closely with that team and adhere to the correct procedures for developing quotations and handing projects off to the projects team as appropriate.
  • You will be expected to actively manage the sales process from initial lead generation through, pitching credentials, receiving a brief, developing a solution with the projects team, delivering a proposal/quotation and handing the project over for detailed management and delivery.
  • Whilst your primary role is developing relationships it is essential that whenever specific projects are proposed you involve a Project Manager at the earliest opportunity and ensure that the project is of viable commercial interest prior to submitting any quotation or otherwise binding price indication.
  • Development of key client relationships within the venue and within client teams, including senior personnel and decision-makers as appropriate.
  • Increasing top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels and profitability.
  • Client retention and development, including the selling of Creative Technology's full range of services.
  • Identification and sharing of best practices amongst the sales and account management teams both inside the venue and the wider teams.
  • Ownership and delivery of agreed financial targets.

Skills Required:

  • Proven success in your business development ability and demonstrable full knowledge of processes involved, from understanding client requirements and meeting specifications through to delivery.
  • Ability to manage and maintain accurate and accessible tailored documentation i.e. Presentations / proposals to meet clients' needs.
  • Ability to use own initiative and pay close attention to detail.
  • Ability to cope with competing demands and to prioritise tasks.
  • Strong communication skills in all forms, including written, oral, email, telephone, and presentation.
