Account Manager
Our client, who are leading suppliers in their field, are looking for an Account Manager to join their close-knit team. This will be on a full time, permanent basis. You will initially work from their office based in Wotton-Under-Edge until they relocate to brand new offices in Berkeley in Summer 2024.
They are looking for a committed and hardworking individual who wants to grow their career within a sales environment. You must have the ability to hit and exceed monthly sales targets, grow key accounts and build client relationships whilst providing exceptional customer service.
You will be provided with full training and support to build your technical knowledge of the product range. In return our client asks for an enthusiasm to learn the industry and the products they provide company wide.
Responsibilities:
-Build relationships with new and existing customers to establish yourself as their key account manager and grow these accounts where opportunities are identified.
-Respond to incoming email and phone enquiries ensuring customers are quoted and orders are processed by the Sales Support Team.
-Create a daily outbound call plan.
-Listen to customer requirements creating detailed proposal document to present.
-Challenge any objections to convert your quotes.
-Actively look for ways to grow business by working closely with the sales leadership team on new ideas and prospects.
-Advise customers on forthcoming product developments and discuss promotions.
-Maintain, clear and up to date customer records on the company CRM.
-Represent the company at trade exhibitions, events etc. as and when required.
-Follow Company Quality Management and Health & Safety guidelines.
-Other reasonable tasks as requested by the Senior Management team.
Candidate Attributes:
-Previous experience working in a sales driven environment
-Strong communication skills both verbally and in written form.
-Enjoys working to sales targets and goals
-Good all-round IT skills
-Must be team player with 'can do’ attitude.
-Ability to prioritise workload whilst working to your own initiative.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm
Salary: Up to £30k + £3k OTE plus benefits including annual salary reviews, 22 days holiday (rising to 25 with service) + bank holidays, gifted birthday off, company pension scheme, Simply Health Cash Back scheme and free onsite parking
