Voted one of the best agencies to work for, and the sort of place where they’ll big you up, not tear you down, combined with a culture that is grounded, supportive, empowering, underpinned by incredible levels of staff retention, this lovely agency is now looking to recruit an Account Manager

At your disposal are a brilliant mix of long-serving employees, who offer fantastic insight and knowledge on the business, as well as a good injection of new talent who bring fresh ideas. Their working ethos is flexible, too, so an end to torturous hours spent in traffic, and you'll find yourself working with the same quality of clients and campaigns which you might see in London or any other big city, but still strike a good work life balance.

The role:

Many of their clients have been with them for over a decade, some for close to 20 years and this list includes major global names from as far away as the US & & Australia, alongside some smaller companies, close by.

The sweet bit is that they take an agnostic approach rooted in creativity and insight to select what’s best for the job in hand, so as Account Manager, you may find yourself involved in the research and planning stages through to execution of highly creative campaigns. Opinions are encouraged regardless of your role; people at this agency are given the freedom to do their best work and support for training is open to all.

They’re also having an incredible year - hard to imagine in the current circumstances- but having won several pieces of cross-agency business, they’re in an excellent situation moving forward. They value analytical and creative thinking and recognise that an agency is a partner that adds value, not a production supplier that represents a cost saving. They want a long-term relationship, rather than chopping and changing to constantly drive down costs.

Clients are exclusively B2B, and the work is incredibly creative, and covers more specifically the built environment, construction, utilities and engineering sectors, all of which are credible names in their respective industries.

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for someone with previous experience within a B2B marketing role, client-side or agency, who can demonstrate a passion for business to business work and has the savvy and confidence to be able to debate strategy with clients and to provide new and innovative ideas.

Everyone has input into their internal processes and systems and they like you to have opinions and they want to hear them. They believe the team should know about the company’s performance and go through quarterly updates with all team member and best of all, you’ll be encouraged to treat worktime flexibly and they’ll give you the training and guidance to do that effectively.

They’ll support you to do your job the best you possibly can they want you to constantly develop your skills and extend your potential. Professional development is an annual KPI for all their people, and you’ll receive a personal budget to spend on training to develop your skills. Throughout the year, they also run general training courses open to clients and staff, and just want to ensure, you enjoy your role.

What’s on offer?

Salary is up to £35k, plus a supportive & collaborative culture, which is underpinned by an incredible level of staff retention - you’ll also benefit from a great pension scheme, flexible working, 25 days holiday & they close for Xmas every year, and if the company does well, which it has for the past 5 years, so will you. They don’t come much better & if B2B is your jam, you’ll be hard pushed to find a better opportunity.
