I am seeking a experienced Account Manager for a longstanding client of mine to promote the company's range of high-end security products and managing sales in the Northwest region of the UK. This role involves a balanced focus on both account management and new business generation, with an emphasis on building and maintaining strong relationships with distribution partners, installers, and system integrators.

Salary:Up to £45,000 base salary, with potential to earn realistically in your first 12 months an additional c£10,000 commission, plus company car and flexible working arrangements, commission is UNCAPPED!

Role Overview:

As a Regional Account Manager / Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for promoting the company's range of high-end security products and managing sales in the Northwest region of the UK. This role involves a balanced focus on both account management and new business generation, with an emphasis on building and maintaining strong relationships with distribution partners, installers, and system integrators.

The role is predominantly account management, new business comes primarily from converting inbound sales enquiries - just your job to convert those leads into sales.

You will be inheriting a very well maintained and nurtured patch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage existing accounts and develop personalised account management plans for key clients.
  • Generate new business opportunities through proactive sales and networking activities (from converting inbound sales enquiries!!).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distribution partners, installers, and system integrators.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and support.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets while upholding the company's reputation for product quality and customer service excellence.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales and account management ideally within the electronic IP security industry, this would be a massive advantage, but my client will consider seasoned account managers from another technical sector.
  • Strong understanding of electronic security solutions, including Access Control and Door Entry systems would be ideal, again will consider other technical industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth and exceed targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Full UK driving license.
