Account Manager - B2B - Technology
Job Role: Account Manager (Senior or Mid-Level)
Location: Central London
My client, a reputable PR/Communications agency specializing in Technology & Life Sciences, are looking for an Account Manager or Senior Account Manager to join their vibrant team based in London. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring the effective implementation of PR programs for our diverse portfolio of technical brands, alongside providing essential support to our Talent team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Address inquiries promptly and efficiently, maintaining high standards of quality.
- Coordinate the timely and accurate distribution of client products in response to requests.
- Conduct thorough research on industry trends, competitor activities, and media channels.
- Collaborate seamlessly with account teams to support day-to-day operations as required.
- Foster and nurture relationships with clients, media contacts, and influencers.
- Assist in compiling comprehensive weekly reports by inputting coverage-related content and data.
- Contribute innovative ideas and strategies for client campaigns in partnership with internal teams.
- Assist in planning and executing client and company events.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in the IT industry.
- Monitor media sources for client coverage and relevant articles, ensuring prompt delivery.
- Manage and oversee stock inventory.
- Assist in managing meeting agendas, notes, and timely dissemination of information.
- Brainstorm creative concepts and publicity strategies to elevate PR campaigns.
- Handle subscriptions and organization of magazines and newspapers.
- Act as a brand advocate for our clients and my client.
- Expand and fortify the network of contacts within the IT industry.
- Actively participate in new business endeavors where applicable.
- Provide support to the social media team at my client.
Reporting Into:
- Account Director
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 year of experience within B2B, ideally in PR or Communications Agency
- A minimum of 3 years working for clients within the Technology or Life Science sector
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver tasks to high-quality standards within agreed timelines.
- Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
