We are working with an independent Commercial Insurance Broker in the Surrey area who are looking for an Account Handler to join their established team!

The team are highly experienced and willing to train and guide you so this is a great opportunity for someone who is wanting to learn and develop. You will be getting involved in all levels of business from Commercial Combined to Property Owners and looking after their SME and Corporate clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Commercial Account Executives with New Business and Renewals
  • Look after and manage SME and Corporate clients
  • Provide a high level of service and demonstrate excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Negotiate terms with underwriters and deliver presentations
  • Ensure all client documentation is completed accurately and within appropriate timescales
  • Assist clients where necessary with their open claims
  • Attend Insurer meetings and Industry events as and when required

Knowledge required:

  • 3 + years experience with Commercial Insurance
  • Prior use of Acturis beneficial
  • Ability to deliver presentations to Insurers or Clients
  • FCA regulations

Salary: £35k + Bonus

Office: Parking on site and walking distance from train station with good transport links

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 - 5pm, 1 hour for lunch
