We are looking for an Account Executive to join a leading Lloyds Broker on a permanent basis, a growing team of 5 working in the Property and Casualty European Fac department

Responsibilities

  • Aid in establishing budgets for a portfolio of accounts and meeting the agreed-upon financial targets.
  • Grasp the business and risk management requirements of clients and seek solutions to meet those needs by consistently providing service
  • Broke, or liaise with placing brokers to achieve agreement of markets where required and maintain diary/pending system to monitor progress
  • Overall responsibility for compliance procedures for total individual client base
  • Adhere to external regulations and mandates that apply to individuals in their respective roles, such as Lloyd’s bylaws and FCA regulations
  • Conduct quality assurance inspections on all documentation
  • Plans and prioritises own work, managing unexpected events and interruptions to deliver to agreed deadlines
  • Fully align with and satisfy the expectations of clients, as delineated in their policies, procedures, training materials, and integrated systems and controls. Our policies and procedures are crafted to encompass the compliance, legal, and financial crime-related statutes and regulations applicable to the client

Qualifications

  • ACII qualification desirable
  • Significant experience in an Account Handling role in (Re)insurance
  • Experience working on Facultative Reinsurance or Property accounts is preferable
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft packages
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Lloyd’s and London (Re)insurance markets and the regulatory bodies
