Our Medical Communications agency client is looking for an Account Executive for their team. Someone who can help with the direction, delivery, financial growth, profitability, and management of a portfolio of pharmaceutical company briefs including Advertising and Branding, and Medical Communications. Someone who can become an effective team member within the Advertising and Branding side of the agency.

Things to know:

  • Salary from £26k to £32k depending on level of experience.
  • Hybrid working, currently 2 days per week in the office - Tuesdays and Wednesdays
  • Based in a lovely Hertfordshire town … easily commutable, especially from areas in London, such as Finsbury Park, London Bridge, Blackfriars etc.
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays plus 3 days Christmas Closure and additional holiday allowances based on length of service.
  • Health Cash Plan (option to join) and Pension

Key Responsibilities

  • This Account Executive role gives you a real variety of projects and disease areas, but experience or an interest in oncology and/or rare diseases would be excellent.
  • Provides guidance to clients, in partnership with the strategic team, cultivating strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and assisting them to achieve their goals through the proposal and development of high-quality communications solutions
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of customer organisations and high visibility within them, generating quality contact with client stakeholders
  • Involved in the delivery of high-quality projects which meet the client’s brief, budget and timelines, On Time in Full (OTIF), providing 'added value’ at the account and deliverable level
  • Works closely with internal team, learning project strategy and planning and ensuring smooth running of accounts, and on-time deliverables.
  • Identifies new project account opportunities and makes recommendations to the client
  • Achieves financial and account targets as agreed, with regular reviews of financial performance of allocated client portfolio, including meeting sales, servicing, profitability targets

You:

  • Agency experience in branding and communications, healthcare experience advantageous
  • Degree in science preferable and/or marketing/communications degree and a passion for science.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
