The Opportunity

  • Our client is looking to employ an additional Account Executive to join their team in the West Midlands.
  • This is a fantastic opportunity to develop a career in the commercial insurance sector.
  • This role will work closely with company directors and other senior members of the team managing a portfolio of clients’ insurance programmes, looking for opportunities to grow the business.
  • The successful candidate will manage a diverse range of new business enquiries and opportunities generated through a well-established introducers and referrals from existing clients.
  • This business has a portfolio of diverse clients including businesses in Leisure, Hospitality, Haulage, Construction, Manufacturing, Engineering and some specialist markets.
  • Working closely with the company Directors and Broking team the Account Executive will ensure that the clients receive an exceptional level of service.
  • It is envisaged that the role will lead to structured progression to a more senior position.

Successful Candidates

  • Experience of the Commercial Insurance market. Client facing experience within an Account Executive or Broking role preferred but all financial services backgrounds considered.
  • Experience in a role servicing programmes in a fully advisory business, whilst not essential, would be of interest.
  • This role should appeal to financial services professionals looking to develop their long term career.
  • Strong customer service professionals taking personal ownership of service delivery.
  • Excellent communicators both verbally and orally with proven ability to develop relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Well organised and comfortable working to deadlines with the ability to manage a wide range of tasks.
  • An energetic professional with a positive mindset and good IT skills.
  • Looking to build a long-term career; this role will lead to career progression to more senior roles.
