About the Role:
We are on the lookout for a dynamic and proactive individual to join a fast-paced finance team on a temporary basis for 6 months. As an integral part of the finance operations team, you will provide pivotal support to the Financial Controller across a variety of activities. Additionally, you will work in close collaboration with the Accounts Administrator to meet the diverse needs of the finance operations.
Key Requirements:

Essential:
- Must be a part-qualified accountant (AAT, CAT, CIMA, or ACCA).
- Strong attention to detail with a keen desire to learn.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
- Exceptional time management skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Prior experience with general ledger systems, ideally Intact IQ.
- Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, SUMIFS).

- Familiarity with Intact IQ systems.
Responsibilities:
- Support with all financial reporting, including sales, debt, and bi-weekly reports.
- Conduct daily/weekly reconciliations of bank accounts, credit card income, and other receipts.
- Lead audit fieldwork for Healthxchange Ireland, coordinating with auditors to ensure timely information delivery.
- Assist with external reporting requirements, including VAT return preparation and year-end account submissions.
- Manage month-end journals within the Finance Ops area.
- Serve as a backup for the Credit Controller, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Administration during absences.
- Act as an escalation point for Finance Ops issues, supporting resolution efforts.
- Update foreign exchange rates in Intact IQ and contribute to process improvements.
- Coordinate National statistic reports to ensure timely submissions.
