Job Title: Accident & Emergency Registrar

Location: NHS Setting

Duration: Approximately 3 Months (Temporary Position)

Shifts: Rotational shifts including twilights, nights, and on-call duties.

About the Role: We are currently seeking an Accident & Emergency Registrar to join our team in an NHS setting for a temporary position lasting approximately 3 months. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality emergency care to patients presenting to the Accident & Emergency department. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a skilled and adaptable individual to make a positive impact within our healthcare community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and manage patients presenting to the Accident & Emergency department.
  • Perform urgent medical interventions and procedures as required.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely and effective patient care.
  • Provide leadership and support to junior medical staff and healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and teaching activities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in accordance with regulatory standards.

Requirements:

  • Full GMC registration and eligibility for inclusion on the Specialist Register for Emergency Medicine.
  • Previous experience working in an Accident & Emergency department.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Excellent clinical and decision-making skills under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work rotational shifts including twilights, nights, and on-call cover.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.
