Our client are a successful engineering & manufacturing organisation, who have now been established for a number of years. They are continuously growing and brining on new customers. To support this growth they are now looking to hire an ambitious and driven ABB Robot programmer.
The successful candidate should have knowledge and experience in;
- Robot programming
- Experience within manufacturing sectors
- Understanding of robot control interface with ancillary equipment
- Experience with robot simulation packages would be of benefit
- Ability to understanding/experience of PLC controlled systems
- Design, program, test and implements systems for all robotic machines
- Lead projects for new robotic installations
Requirements and skills
- Excellent knowledge of CAD/CAM software
- Knowledge of cost, efficiency, and productivity optimisation methods
- Ability to develop and evaluate integrated systems
- Degree qualified or equivalent within an Engineering discipline
