We are seeking a passionate and dedicated A-Level Geography Teacher to join a committed team for the summer term.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Delivering engaging and comprehensive A-Level Geography lessons in accordance with the curriculum standards and guidelines.
  • Developing lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments that cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
  • Fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel motivated to participate and explore geographical concepts.
  • Providing timely feedback and support to students to help them progress academically and achieve their full potential.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the geography department.
  • Maintaining accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behaviour in accordance with school policies.
  • Communicating effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to address any concerns or queries related to the geography curriculum.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Geography.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • Proven experience teaching Geography or similar qualifications.
  • Strong knowledge of geographical concepts, theories, and methodologies.
  • Passion for teaching and a commitment to promoting academic excellence.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the demands of the teaching profession.

  • Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS if you do not currently hold one.
