Berry Recruitment are recruiting for a number of 7.5 tonne drivers to work with our client based in the AB21 AREA

This is a temporary position which can lead to permanent for the successful candidates!

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Responsible for the accurate, timely movement and delivery of our customer's products.
• Responsible for vehicle safety checks
• Be aware of the vehicle defects and bring to the attention of Transport Office as necessary.
• Adhering to safe working practices to ensure the safety of yourself and others at all times.
• Accordance with customer requirements on time critical deliveries and collections.
• Securing load of the trailer to ensure products are safely secured to minimise chances of damage.
• Provide excellent customer service at all times and to take ownership of customer issues on delivery.
• Carry out multi-drop deliveries within the delivery window in a safe manner.
• Attend essential training in order to carry out the Driver role.

Working hours / days:

Start times usually around 6am till finish around 4pm

Rate of Pay:

£13.68ph

OT £17.10 per hour

Start Date:

15TH April

Driving assessment to be carried out over the 15th-17th April, You must be available these days.

Ideal Candidate:

• The candidates must have driving experience and be able to carryout out deliveries to customers room of choice.
• Full UK driving licence permitting 7.5 tonne vehicles
• Hold their Driver CPC within 5 years
• No more than 6 points on the licence
• Previous experience is essential
• Have the right attitude for the job
