Pertemps is seeking 7.5 Tonne (Cat C1) Drivers to join our client's team in Milton Keynes. This is a great opportunity for drivers looking for ongoing or permanent positions with a forward-thinking company that offers significant earning potential.
The Role You will deliver goods to stores across the UK, with approximately 2-3 drops per day.
Start times: Between 2400 – 0600 (flexibility is essential).
Shift length: 12 hours daily.
Work schedule: 4 shifts per week (Monday to Saturday).
Deliveries: Multidrop.
Physical demand: Heavy lifting involved.
Rates of Pay
4 x 12-hour shifts per week: £15.55 per hour.
Overtime: Additional shifts available at time and a half.
Estimated Earnings
Basic Weekly: £740+ (based on 4 shifts per week).
With 1 OT Shift: £1000+ (based on 5 shifts per week).
Basic Monthly: £3200+ (based on 4 shifts per week).
With 1 OT Shift: £4400+ (based on 5 shifts per week).
Basic Annually: £38k (based on 4 shifts per week).
With 1 OT Shift: £53k (based on 5 shifts per week)
Requirements Successful applicants will have:
A valid 7.5 Tonne (Cat C1) license, Full CPC, and Digi card.
At least 6 months of experience.
Fewer than 3 points on their license (for insurance purposes).
A good understanding of health and safety.
The ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues and customers.
Training and Progression Our client offers a 2-week induction training program for all new drivers. Additionally, there is a training program for HGV2 Drivers who may not feel confident driving HGV2 initially, allowing them to start as 7.5 Tonne Drivers and progress when ready.
Temp to Perm Positions Temp to perm positions are available for individuals who demonstrate the required skills and attributes.
